eBay permits resale of tickets to entertainment events (including sporting events, concerts, and plays) to the fullest extent permitted by law. Ticket sellers are responsible for ensuring that transactions do not violate any applicable law. For information on specific state guidelines, please see "Additional Information" below.

Primary Ticket Sale Policy

Primary ticket sales may be listed on eBay and are exempt from state ticket resale regulations. To qualify as a 'primary sale' of an event ticket, the ticket must be sold on eBay by the artist, team, promoter or organizer of the event, and the seller must clearly and explicitly state in the listing that the listing is an authorized first sale of the ticket directly from the promoter, artist, organizer or team to the public. Ticket Package Policy

Ticket packages may be listed on eBay, and are exempt from state ticket resale regulations. To qualify as a 'ticket package', the listing must not offer the buyer an option to purchase the tickets alone, and must include either:

  • At least one item or experience of substantial value related to the ticket event that the seller has coordinated with the event promoter, team, manager, artist, or venue, such as a backstage pass, a meeting with the performer, or an "experience" such as being a ball boy at a baseball game; or

  • A complete travel package around the event, including both air transportation to the event location and commercial lodging for at least one night. Listings that offer tickets without these travel arrangements do not qualify as travel packages under this policy.

チケットパッケージはeBayに出品することができ、州のチケット転売規制から免除されます。「チケットパッケージ」としての資格を満たすためには、出品はバイヤーにチケットだけの購入をできる選択肢を与えてはいけません、そして下記のいずれかを含まなければいけません：

If you are listing event tickets for resale from an eBay site other than www.ebay.com for one of the regulated locations listed below, you are also responsible for following all applicable US state ticket resale laws.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

  • Listing cancellation

  • Limits on account privileges

Regulated Location: Pricing Limitations:
Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Alberta (CA), Manitoba (CA), Ontario (CA)

 No more than face value.**
North Carolina No more than face value plus $3.
Florida No sale of multi-day or multi-event tickets that have been used at least once for admission.
Georgia Only the original purchaser, a charity or a licensed broker may sell for more than face value.
Massachusetts No more than face value plus $2 (except that a ticket broker licensed by the state may charge for certain additional expenses related to acquiring and selling the ticket).
Mississippi No more than face value for events held on state owned property and athletic contests at Mississippi colleges and universities; no limits on other events.
Missouri No more than face value for sporting events; no limits on other events.
New Jersey No more than face value plus the greater of 20% of the ticket price or $3.00 (except that a registered ticket broker or a season ticket holder may accept a premium of up to 50% of the price paid to acquire the ticket).
New Mexico No more than face value for college athletic events; no limits on other events.
Rhode Island No more than face value plus the greater of 10% of the ticket price or $3.

ニュージャージー 額面価格にチケット価格の20%もしくは＄3.00のどちらか高いほうを足した額以上で販売することはできません。（登録済みチケットブローカーやシーズンチケット所有者は例外としてチケット取得金額の最高50％までプレミアムをつけることができます。）
ニューメキシコ 大学の体育イベントは額面価格以上の金額で販売することはできません。それ以外のイベントについては制限がありません。
ローデアイランド 額面価格にチケット価格の10%もしくは＄3.00のどちらか高いほうを足した額以上で販売することはできません。
**Face value includes the price of the ticket and any service charge and tax charged by the original ticket provider that is printed on the ticket.
