Charitable fundraising is a highly regulated area subject to numerous state and federal laws. eBay allows sellers to list items and collect proceeds (in whole or in part) on behalf of nonprofits either with eBay Giving Works (the dedicated program for charity listings on eBay) or without eBay Giving Works (as long as the listings meet our specific guidelines for charitable solicitations).

• Accept the eBay Giving Works Terms and Conditions and maintain an account in good standing.
  
  
• Agree to donate to at least 10% of the final sale price or $5 whichever is greater to a certified organization in the nonprofit directory, if the item sells. Note: The $5 minimum donation requirement does not apply to nonprofits selling items on their own behalf as a Nonprofit Direct Seller.
  
  
  • Select PayPal, a credit card, or a debit card as one of the seller payment options. This is not required for Nonprofit Direct Sellers.

• eBayギビングワークスの取引条件に同意し、アカウントを良い状態に保っていること。
  
  
• もし商品が落札された場合、落札価格の最低10％もしくは＄5のどちらかを金額が大きいほうを非営利団体のディレクトリにある認可された組織に募金することに同意すること。

eBay Giving Works listings are:

• Differentiated with a distinctive charity ribbon icon, as well as information about the donation and benefiting nonprofit in the item description.
  
  
• Included within specialized charity search functionality, in addition to the eBay Marketplace search engine.
  
  
• Eligible for the eBay Giving Works Fee Credit Policy if the item sells.

Guidelines for non-eBay Giving Works nonprofit listings

• Are soliciting on behalf of recognized tax-deductible charitable organizations (for example, 501(c)(3) status or equivalent with the IRS).
  
  
• Receive advance written consent for the solicitation from the benefiting nonprofit.

• 認識された税金控除可能な慈善団体を代表して、懇願している場合。（例えば、501（ｃ）（3）ステータスもしくはIRSと同等なもの）
  
  
• 利益を受ける非営利団体から事前に書面での懇願の同意を受けている場合。

eBay may at its discretion allow for fundraising initiatives supported by Community Gives, an eBay Foundation program.

There are strict limitations on what items and categories may be included as an eBay Giving Works listing. Categories such as Real Estate or Adult Only may not be used, and offering items such as raffle or lottery tickets is prohibited.
